About Me
I'm a journalist, but I like to call myself a newspaperwoman. I got my start in my hometown, Fresno, Calif., reporting and writing for the daily newspaper there, The Fresno Bee. In the years since, I've studied journalism at Fresno State University, reported for Thomson Reuters, Central California Life Magazine, One Green Planet, The Grants Pass Daily Courier, The Newport News-Times and The Washington
State Wire.
While I have experience as a hard news reporter, I also have a master's degree in Fashion Journalism from Academy of Art University. I still contribute reporting and writing to other professional publications on local, state and national politics, crime, court cases, education, community human interest and investigative reporting.
